“Ushin” celebrates the beauty of the heart and the awareness of one’s true inner essence. Inspired by the concept of “Sabi,” the collection embraces aging and imperfections, turning every sign of time into grace. The geometric shapes of the rugs are designed to reflect the primacy of the heart over form.
About Studio Ito
Setsu e Shinobu Ito are both Japanese designers with a broad work experience in architecture, interior and space, surface, product, industrial and packaging design. They opened their design studio in 1997, and since then, they work and consult for international clients, in a wide range of activities in the design.
