During the event, Carpet Edition designed the VIP Lounge, one of the most representative areas of the show, interpreting it as a welcoming, sophisticated, and contemporary space. The CoDeco, Cut Out, Selce, and Rio rugs become silent yet essential protagonists: textured surfaces and carefully calibrated patterns that define areas, guide movement, and create a harmonious dialogue between furnishings, light, and architecture. A composition designed to provide visual and sensory comfort while maintaining measured and timeless elegance.
At the same time, Carpet Edition’s design boards the BLUEGAME yacht BGM75, where the Selce rug finds a new project dimension. Installed inside the vessel, Selce perfectly embodies the concept of continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces characteristic of the contemporary yacht. Its irregular geometries and rich textures help give depth to the spaces, interacting with the nautical surfaces and the seascape entering through the large windows.
Participation in the 2025 Genoa Boat Show confirms Carpet Edition’s commitment to the nautical world, a field where bespoke design, material quality, and attention to detail are essential. Living at sea as a home means creating spaces that can welcome, endure, and last over time without sacrificing beauty. A way of understanding design as a travel companion: discreet, functional, yet deeply distinctive.
