Luciana Di Virgilio and Gianni Veneziano are a duo of Italian designers and architects renowned for their unique approach to design, which blends creativity with social reflection. Their work spans various fields, with a strong focus on memory, human connection, and the intimacy of objects.
In the 1980s, Gianni Veneziano founded a studio under his own name which, in 2007, following his meeting with Luciana Di Virgilio, first became Veneziano+Team and later the current Di Virgilio Veneziano. They work as interior designers with the firm belief that preserving the past is the only path toward the future. They have designed for various brands, ranging from lighting to rugs, and even moving effortlessly into the world of food.
However, art remains the soul of the studio: Gianni donated "Il Segno dei Designer" to the Triennale di Milano, a historical legacy derived from the exhibition of the same name. Among his successes, the Daysign project, exhibited at the Triennale in 2013, received widespread acclaim, culminating in a broadcast on RAI 5. Since 2017, they have been appointed Ambassadors of Italian Design as part of the Italian Design Day project.
